Full Training Program

  • Classes start every Monday
  • Three to four weeks | 140+ hours of immersive CDL classroom and driver training   
  • Third-party testing to acquire the CDL license including DOT physical, drug screening, criminal background check, and driving record 
  • Permit/endorsements, practice tests, pre-trip, backing range, and road driving training 

Tuition

  • $5500: Classroom training, pre-trip inspection, driving skills, backing range, and Entry Level Driver Training (ELDT) 
  • $56: Learner’s permit

  • $350: Third-party skills test with truck and trailer

Classroom Instruction

  • Students receive classroom study preparing them for the Department of Transportation’s Commercial Driver License tests. Tests include general knowledge, combination vehicles, air brakes, and three additional endorsements in doubles and triples, tankers, and hazardous materials.

Road Driving Skills

  • Students receive hands-on truck and trailer experience learning the art of actual commercial driving. They experience all types of driving conditions such as driving within tight spaces, over the road highway driving, and city driving. Students also thoroughly develop defensive driving techniques to protect themselves and other drivers while over the road.

Backing Skills

  • Students receive hands-on truck and trailer experience, developing skills required for state driving tests. Tests are administered by certified third-party testers for the State of Utah.

Pre-Screening Acceptance Standards

  • We team up with counselors to screen, per industry standards, for employable students after graduation.

Driver Team Concept

  • Our students team up, with two students to one instructor, to increase over the road drive time and to maintain a student support system that builds driver confidence. 

Job Placement Assistance

  • We collaborate with over twenty truck driving companies to place students after graduation.
