- Electric Vehicle Adoption: DHL Supply Chain has received its first Tesla Semi, and CEVA Logistics completed a long-distance test with a fully electric truck. Peterbilt and Kenworth are also expanding their EV lineups with new medium-duty models.
- Technology & Connectivity: Kodiak Robotics is partnering with Verizon to enhance autonomous truck connectivity, while PrePass acquired FleetDrive 360 to expand FMCSA compliance technology.
- Regulatory & Safety: The U.S. has frozen work visas for foreign truck drivers following a fatal crash in Florida. Additionally, a 2025 executive order requires truck drivers to be able to read and speak English.
